Vessup View

The beauty of this house was marred by several factors. I saw cockroaches in the kitchen and the hallway. There was a leak in the master bedroom ceiling, causing water on the carpet, on the bed and through to the bed sheets. Sleeping on a wet bed is not much fun. The faucets in the showers need replacement. The main floor master suite needs an additional door to the bathroom; if someone is showering and the main door to the master is slightly open, one can see the person taking a shower from the hallway. First three days, we had hot water in the toilet tank (yes, the toilet tank!), hot enough to cause the toilet seat to be hot. For a five-bedroom house, the water heater is insufficient. The kitchen floor needs a thorough scrubbing; too many scuff marks.

Great property, great view, great time! Couldn’t be happier with team from Prestige and can’t say enough about Justin. He was always available and responded to every inquiry quickly. I can’t say enough about his dedication to his customers. Can’t wait to return.

We loved the location of Vessup View. While we did not feel it was really practical to walk to the beaches or restaurants due to the tight roads, it was just a quick 5 minute drive to Red Hook and the absolutely gorgeous Secret Harbor Beach. We had 8 people, and it could definitely sleep 10-11 comfortably. We were also just minutes from the ferry to St. John. The kitchen was stocked well, and we had everything we needed to cook. The Food Center grocery store was just a quick 10 minute drive and it was the most organized store I have ever seen. Loved our stay!

It’s very rare to stay at a property that is even better than described. A property where the pictures underestimate the beauty and comfort of a property. This was On my way! Of those occasions. This was a beautiful property. The customer service was ad good as the property itself! Can’t wait to go back!!

My husband and I took our daughter and her family of 6 kids for 6 days. The location is great as you are close to Red Hook, Sapphire Beach, and Megans Bay.The twin bed as listed in the description is actually a leather fold down futon type couch. This may not matter if you don't need that bed but i wouldn't count on it unless it is for a younger child. The only other concern was the water temperature in the showers. One of the three showers had plenty of warm water. The other 2 were cool. I'm not sure if this can be addressed or not.The host was extremely communicative and helpful. There were sand chairs etc at the house for our use at the beaches. Overall, this was a great experience. The pool was not as large as it appears in the photos but it was perfect for our group. The pool guy showed up to clean it mid week and we used it a lot!The kitchen was well stocked with appliances. All bathrooms were stocked as well. We had a great time during our stay.
